Last week I posted about Mary's container garden (update: we are now harvesting the yellow variety tomatoes, and the peppers are not far behind). After taking the photos that accompanied that post, I turned around and discovered this hydrangea in full bloom.Just as the Hawksbill Cabin yard is planted over with Hosta, the Alexandria yard is full of hydrangeas. Mary's even moved them from the front to the back to make the plantings more logical (and orderly, I'm sure - curator + master of urban design and all that).
The morning sun was hitting them just right to create a big impression.
